12 Pre-Wedding Beauty Tips for the Soon to be Mr.

On your wedding day, all eyes are on the bride, but her eyes are on you, so you want to look your best. Here is 12 pre-wedding beauty tips for the Groom to follow!


1. Hair


Settle on a hairstyle! Depending on how fast your hair grows, you should plan to get your final haircut about a month before the wedding. This allows you time to get a trim the week before the wedding if needed. No experimenting with any new hairstyles too close to the wedding!

2. Begin a Face Washing Routine


No more just using soap and water, it might be time to invest in a good cleanser a weekly exfoliator. This will have your skin looking polished and clear. Make sure to start this routine at least a few weeks before the wedding to see the benefits and ensure no irritation occurs.


3. Drink More Water


Make sure to be drinking at least eight glasses a day. Not only will it make you feel better, but your skin will look better too!


4. Get a MANicure

Getting a manicure will make sure your skin is smooth and soft, and you will have clean, beautiful nails. Book your manicure a few days before the wedding.


5. Facial Hair Maintenance


Whatever facial hair look you are going for, follow some of these tips. Make sure to do some trial and error with your beard grow, so ensure the perfect stubble look for your wedding. If the mustache is the look you want, make sure it is well trimmed, and your signature look, not just a phase you may come to regret. If you want a clean shaven look, maybe look into getting a barber to give you a hot towel shave with a straight razor before your wedding. For a beard, make sure to trim it weekly leading up to the wedding, and use the right products like beard oil, soap or conditioner to keep your beard glossy and groomed.

Scent is very important, so whether you stick with your signature cologne or choose something special for the occasion, don’t forget to wear a fragrance for your wedding day. Make sure to keep it light!


7. Pluck & Trim


Make sure you don’t have unruly eyebrows for your wedding. Make pluck any stray hairs between your eyes a couple of days before your wedding. Avoid overplucking, and do not pluck over the brows or inside the inner or outer eye line. As well, invest in a trimmer for any rogue ear or nose hairs. Consider starting a teeth whitening routine long enough before the wedding to give it time to work. You could also look into getting your teeth professionally whitened well in advance before the big day.

Weddings can be stressful for everyone involved, so maybe book yourself a massage to help de-stress and relax. It will help you feel better and help with your posture as well!

10. Workout


Working out regularly will help you to look and feel you best on your bid day. For a toned figure, you can consult a dietitian and a personal trainer to get the best results.

11. Sleep


Sleep is one of the most important beauty tips. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, you will not feel your best or look your best. It is recommended to try and get at least 8 hours each night. Try and create and stick to a regular and consistent sleep schedule.

12. Diet


A healthy and stable diet leading up to the wedding will help you look our best in your tux. Avoid junk food as much as possible. Everything in moderation is key to being healthy.
